i have been thinking about the overall form of the structure and even though christen you don't like the idea of a dome, i think it would be the best for the overall structure. this does not mean it has to be a regular dome, it could be irregular. the reason as to why i think it should be a dome type structure is that: 

1. if we are still going with the idea of structure being a heart, dome looks closely to a heart, hence will help portray our message

2. it would easily allow people to enter the structure 

3.  i think the dome is better structure for the pulsing movement, compared to square, triangular and other shaped structures 

i know the above images aren't all tensegrity structures however they give idea to overall form
