Regarding Lights

GRACE: The idea of flourescent lights supporting the structure looks awesome but it simply won't work for our purposes you need to consider that we are now subject to BCA requirements, i mentioned this in my last post yesterday evening. If the result is that they are cheap then yes we can use them because they are very bright, if this is the case then we need a way of attaching them to the compression elements and consider waterproofing. But again everyone lights as compression from my knowledge is not an option.
